Embark on an exhilarating journey into the heart of law enforcement with a Patrol Ride-Along for two individuals, with the San Mateo Sheriff’s Office. This immersive experience offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the daily operations and challenges faced by our local deputies. 

You and a companion will have the exclusive chance to accompany a seasoned San Mateo Sheriff's Deputy on their patrol duties. From the moment you step into the patrol vehicle, you'll be part of the action, riding alongside a professional who is committed to ensuring the safety and security of the community. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about crime prevention strategies, community outreach initiatives, and the collaborative efforts that go into fostering a safe and secure environment.

Whether you have a keen interest in law enforcement, are considering a career in the field, or simply want to experience the challenges faced by our local officers, the Patrol Ride-Along with the San Mateo Sheriff's Office promises to be an eye-opening and educational outing.  

Inclusions:
  • A Patrol Ride-Along for two people with the San Mateo Sheriff Office Deputy
  • Each person will be in a different vehicle with a different Deputy
  • If requested, the San Mateo Sheriff Office will try to accommodate the two rides on the same date

Limitations:
  • Participants must be at least 14 years old and have no felony convictions
  • All participants must sign a waiver
  • Minors must have approval from their parent/guardian
  • To be scheduled on a mutually agreed-upon date with the County of San Mateo Sheriff’s Office
  • Expires on: March 22, 2025
