Fund-a-Need: Unlocking the Future - Empowering Teachers with AI at Silicon Valley International School

Contribute to the AI Fund-A-Need

This year's Gala Fund-a-Need aims to propel us into the future by providing our teachers with the necessary training to understand Artificial Intelligence (AI), to integrate it in their classroom, to better prepare our students by cultivating their humanistic elements, and to create a cohesive AI Use Philosophy.

The rapid evolution in AI, coupled with the challenges of embracing new emerging technologies and preparing our students for evolving career paths that have yet to be invented,  must be addressed. It is vital that our teachers need to learn from experts in the field of AI, alongside philosophers, so we can equip our students with the skills needed to become leaders in the changing world: critical thinking, creativity, empathy, curiosity, intuition, and imagination.

Our teachers also need to learn how to leverage AI to personalize the educational experience, to create classrooms that cater to the unique learning needs, preferences, and abilities of every student. Whether it's providing tailored feedback, adapting instructional materials, or identifying areas for growth, AI empowers teachers to deliver personalized learning experiences that optimize student engagement and academic success.
Central to our Fund-a-Need initiative is the establishment of a cohesive philosophy, a framework, and a set of guidelines on the proper usage of AI in the classroom. It is essential that all teachers are on the same page regarding ethical considerations, privacy concerns, data storage, and best practices for integrating AI technologies into the learning environment. By building a strong foundation, INTL ensures that AI is utilized responsibly and ethically to enhance student learning outcomes.

As we embark on this transformative journey, we invite you to join us in supporting the educational advancement of our teachers and students through the Fund-a-Need for AI. Your contributions will enable INTL to build a foundation for responsible AI usage, empower educators with essential skills and knowledge, cultivate the human qualities that define us as humans, and create personalized learning environments that foster student success.

Please help us bring the specialists, the resources, the keynotes speakers, and the researchers of this world to our school, so that INTL integrates AI without compromising the development of the human side of its students and teachers.
